The shooter franchise is returning to historical setting
Activision and Sledgehammer Games have confirmed that Call of Duty: WWII is in development.
Call of Duty: WWII will bring the shooter series back to World War II after nearly ten years. The full reveal livestream is planned for next week, at 10:00am Pacific on April 26.
The stream will be hosted by Sledgehammer Games co-studio heads and founders Michael Condrey and Glen Schofield, and more information on the game is expected then.
The most recent entry in the yearly franchise is last year’s Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. The developers’ previous game was Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.
