For a few weeks now, I have been wondering what is going on with the WindowsLiveWriter team.  They pushed out a new update in November, so they were still doing some work there.  However, I can not seem to find any indications that they are actually staffing their own web presence much these days.

I’m not sure if I’m navigating their website correctly (I love their software, but the site can be difficult), so its possible that I’m missing the signs but they seem to be some what  . . . er absent.

Microsoft this week unveiled an agreement with Hewlett Packard to have Microsoft’s Live Search Engine set as the default search engine on new HP machines.

Under the agreement, Microsoft’s search engine will also be the default on Internet Explorer, which is preloaded with HP machines.

Microsoft did not disclose the terms of the agreement, which will begin in January in the US and Canada.
