Lulu Offering a $1500 Prize for Self Publishing Contest

If writing and selling books on Lulu is your cup of tea, you might take interest in this contest that Lulus is promoting this month.

Its a $1500 prize for the most books sold on Lulu, $750 second prize and $500 3rd prize.

Personally, I find the Lulu business model interesting but haven’t yet put the service through its paces yet.  If you have and have some experience (and a good book to sell!) give it a try and let us know that you are entering.  We’ll feature your book and or website in an article here (which might help fuel the promotion even more!). 

But more importantly for our readers you might share some of your insights into using Lulu.  It would seem to me that the Lulu market needs to grow significantly to reach a critical mass still.  That will require even more writers.  Who knows you might even write a book about publishing books on Lulu.com.
